A Little Something About Me

  • In 2011 I ended seven years of living full-time in a travel trailer, and moved into a two bedroom, two bath townhouse.
  • Now, as a Realtor® with Long Realty Company I’m interested in helping other low income buyers qualify to realize their goal of home ownership.

The Word of the Month is Chili

Two years ago I traveled with my partner to Terlingua, Texas to experience the annual Original International Championship Chili Cookoff. This annual event raises money for the ALS Foundation through chili competition and entertainment.

This summer we have entered chili cookoff competitions through another organization, the Chili Appreciation Society International, that “raises money for charity through the promotion of chili”. Each locale has its own charities, and the cookoffs conducted there provide funds for those local charities. We have two more events scheduled for this summer. More on that later.

Celebrate Tucson’s Birthday on August 19th at the Presidio.

Presidio San Agustin Museum is a re-creation of the Tucson Presidio built in 1775. Visitors travel back in time to learn about life as early Tucsonans would have lived it. Docent tours discuss life in the Presidio for soldiers and other residents. Additional highlights include an original Sonoran row house and a prehistoric pit house.”
